None of this makes the former geology student in me happy...when you have all this activity at once , all along the Pacific plate, the subduction zones etc..I can't help but feel that it's all connnected. They like to say all sorts of crap on the news as they don't wnt people stressing , but I don't like it a feckin' bit.
Previous to the 1980 Mt.St. Helens eruption there were little farts like this too.
Of course it could just be a small fart of am eruption and that's all it'll do, but I'm not fully confident in that fact. Look say what they will, there is still a ton of "hmmm"...type
guesswork. On the plus side all this shit could be good as it could be relieving pressure that's been building, but ususally this much activity
in such a short amount of time doesn't mean good things. Hell, Mt St. Helen last erupted in 1980 ..That's just a second ago if you go by "Geologic time." So all things considered, when you take the San Francisco quake of '89
Big Bear in '82, Northridge'84, plus all the other activity..that's a lot of shit to happen in a "second"

the eruption (2nd one expected this weekend) has been categorized a level 3...basically the same shit the happened in 1980.....could happen anytime this weekend..they have already evacuated the area 10 miles around the mountain...i hope the wind is blowing east.......and yes, Im really afraid this one is going to "wake up" Rainier...if that one blows we could be in some trouble here
